Our Concept
The Ghana Business League (GBL) is a body that ranks Business organisations in Ghana. This is the maiden edition and first of its kind. All business organisations (public and private, for-profit and non- profit, large and small) in the country are carefully selected on merits to participate. The criterion for the selection is mainly based on the proportionate market share of the business and its performance as well as other relevant metrics.
Ghana Business League Awards (GBLA) celebrates and projects leading businesses in the Manufacturing, Supply and Service Industries. The Awards seeks to recognize the tireless journey of hard work, outstanding achievements and vision of these Ghanaian businesses. Ghana Business League Awards is an integrated and hierarchical Business awards celebrating the success of leading Businesses. The Awards developed under the guidance of an awarding board, seeks to project these Businesses in various sectors to the Ghanaian community and Globally. The winners of various league categories will benchmark incredible Business acumen and dexterity in their field.
As the Premier Edition, the program retains a unique status of being the only business awards with a jury made up of a cross section of prominent business Professionals, well-learned figures in Education and the Media. GBLA is an event which seeks to portray various Ghanaian cultural identities thus, the attire for the night being traditionally defined. The event night will be filled with high-energy entertainment, VIP dinner, and an award ceremony that celebrates leading businesses.
